2000AD fans raffle artwork in aid of Comic Book Legal Defense Fund

2000AD fans have organised a raffle of art from the comic to celebrate reaching over 1000 members for a new Facebook group celebrating the work of the comic’s many creators.

Although the raffle organised by the 2000AD comic artwork group is free, those entering are being encouraged to make a donation of £2 which will go to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. Any donation is completely voluntary and will not affect your chances of winning.

Offered in the raffle is a massive page of black and white Judge Dredd art by Colin MacNeil donated by Dale Jackson, Judge Dredd pages by Paul Marshall and Carlos Ezquerra, Ro-Jaws by Pye Parr, Slaine by Nick Percival Art, a Boo Cook “goodie bag” and much more.

The raffle closes at 12.00 pm on 28th June 2014.

The US-based Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of the First Amendment rights of the comics art form and its community of retailers, creators, publishers, librarians, and readers. The CBLDF provides legal referrals, representation, advice, assistance, and education in furtherance of these goals.
