Summer sizzles with new Spaceship Away, available now

The latest issue of Spaceship Away, Part 66, is available now, featuring more “Dan Dare” adventure, and includes a feature on “Adam Eterno” the long-running strip centred on the near indestructible time traveller, first published in Thunder, moving to Lion with the two adventure weeklies merger in 1971.

“Adam Eterno“, created by Jack Le Grand and Tom Tully, was one of seven Thunder strips that survived the merger Lion and Thunder, with only four continuing from Lion. The strip would continue until October 1976, when Valiant was folded into Battle and the regular strip ended, but the character has been revived by Rebellion, who now own him, and some of his early adventures were collected in Adam Eterno – A Hero of All Time, published in 2021.

This issue also continues “Jeff Hawke” and “Kalgan the Golden“, plus the usual “Space Review” and Phil Harbottle‘s guide to science fiction of yesteryear.
