Tripwire has just launched the ballot for its 2025 Awards, with several British creators, including Annie Parkhouse, Martin Simpson and Richard Starkings, and publishers Avery Hill, SelfMadeHero and Rebellion among the many nominees.
Graphic Policy and downthetubes feature in the nominees for “Best Comics-Related Website / Publication”. (Broken Frontier, also nominated, has asked to be removed from the ballot).
This is the seventh consecutive year that the publisher has run their awards, casting an eye over the brightest and best in comics over the last twelve months, as well as celebrating the legends of comics in their Roll Of Honour.
This time around, nominations have been carefully collated by Tripwire’s editor-in-chief Joel Meadows, with the judges consisting of Comic Book News UK’s Ben Williams, award-winning artist Jamal Igle and The Convention Collective’s Leonard Sultana.
“As always, the strength of the Awards is the fact that the voting is open to one and all, making them truly representative of the audience of popular comics in 2025,” said Tripwire’s editor-in-chief Joel Meadows.
The results of the awards will be announced at a special physical ceremony later in the year, date and details to be confirmed.
• Vote now – deadline Tuesday 18th November 2025
This item has been updated to reflect Broken Frontier’s request to be removed from the ballot
