Savage Sword of Conan #11, featuring writer/artist Liam Sharp’s triumphant return to the Hyborian Age with a spellbinding Conan epic, is on sale now from Titan Comics, although most UK comic shops won’t have it until next week.

“Tattered Wings”, a tale some 25 years in the making, is a 48-page epic, featuring astonishing art from the Derbyshire-based artist, who will be signing copies of the new anthology, and copies of Spawn: the Dark Ages #1, at Forbidden Planet Derby on Saturday.

“I’ve banged on about it endlessly, but [this] is a huge deal for me,” Liam has said in social media posts. “A painted cover, and black and white newsprint interior, magazine format, 48-page epic story… that was my jam when I was young. And to get to realise that dream in the same format, at this stage in my career, when I’m the best I’ve ever been creatively? If that’s not a dream come true then I don’t know what is!”

Savage Sword of Conan #11 also features the debut of Robert E. Howard’s “Cormac Mac Art”, brought to life by writer Ron Marz and artist Danny Earls, and comes with colossal covers from Alex Horley and Liam Sharp, an array of astonishing pin-ups and more.

COVER ISSUES WITH CONAN: Distributors Luna (distributors) sent the following message out to retailers regarding The Savage Sword of Conan #11

“Dear Retailers,

Copies of Savage Sword of Conan #11 CVR A and CVR B (Lunar codes: 0925TN1002 and 0925TN1003), came from the printer with CVR A and CVR B switched. We have updated the titles to show the correct cover artist. These covers have been made fully returnable.

There will be no reprints.”

This means that people who ordered either Alex or Liam’s cover in advance through their LCS may not have gotten that, and may be disappointed. This shouldn’t, hopefully, impact your enjoyment of the stories inside, which are great!

John Freeman
