Struck to celebrate 75 years of BEANO’s ultimate mischief maker, The Royal Mint has released a new UK 50p coin features a reverse design created by Beano Studios, which depicts an image of Dennis the Menace with his furry pal Gnasher.

The 2026-dated coin celebrates 75 years of Dennis the Menace, the king of mischief. Created by Beano Studios, the reverse design features an image of Dennis with his furry pal Gnasher at his side.
The uncirculated 50p is being offered in a variety of sets, accompanied by packaging that features a comic strip drawn by Nigel Parkinson created exclusively for the release, depicting Dennis and Gnasher’s whirlwind visit to The Royal Mint.

There’s also a special competition, running until 20th March 2026, offering a chance of winning a UK 50p Silver Proof Colour Coin, one of 100 limited-edition prints that feature a bespoke comic strip created by Beano Studios and a copy of the 2026 Beano Annual.
A 75 Years of Dennis the Menace 2026 Limited Edition Print, signed by BEANO editor Craig Graham and Nigel, is also on offer, but be warned, it’s not for a pocket money price!

Finished to Brilliant Uncirculated standard, a way more awesome finish than the coins found in your change, surely this is one coin release that fans of BEANO’s most iconic character, including ‘groan-ups’, cannot miss!
