Dennis has finally met his match! Mr Bean has checked into Beano HQ and taken charge as the weekly humour comic’s Guest Editor, kicking off a brand-new four-part series packed with mischief, mayhem and very questionable decision-making.

Although the cover may look like it’s generic style guide stuff, it was all drawn by Nigel Parkinson, confirming his ability to adapt his style to the almost anything the BEANO editorial team throw at him. (He has also created much of the art for BEANO events and other imagery for several years)l
Mr Bean’s storyline comes ahead of the launch of the new Mr Bean animated series, starting next week.

Inside, Mr Bean arrives at Bash Street School and gets mistaken for an inspector, and he’s renaming the comic’s strips, too – “The Bash Street Kids” is, for now, “The Bean Street Kids”, for example.
Plus, there are plenty of other Mr Bean tie-in’s, too, including a competition to win a Mr Bean style portrait.
It’s all great fun, as usual, and Mr. Bean isn’t going anywhere soon – well not for four weeks, anyway!
BEANO No. 4354 is on sale now in all good newsagents, and sometime by cats
