White Hart Comics, an independently comic publisher, have announced a launch event for Tooth and Nail at The Book Elephant in Sayer Road, London, on Thursday 29th October 2026.
As well as being able to get copies of Tooth and Nail before its wider distribution in the New Year, there will be an opportunity to buy their previous releases, Flesh and Blood, along with Skin and Bone, previously featured here on downthetubes, if you haven’t already.
(Or maybe want to get and make an early start on gifts for your favourite people as we head into holiday season… what do you mean, too early? We’ve got presents in the cupboard here for Christmas 2027!).
There will be drinks and snacks at the event: RSVP – info@whitehartcomics.com so the team can gauge numbers!

Tooth and Nail is the third book of three full-colour graphic novels, over 120 pages each, telling one complete horror story.
“Hunger! Hunger like you’ve never known!”
In Flesh and Blood – Green Hollow Saga Book One, the discovery of a partially eaten corpse at the side of the road relights a smouldering obsession in paramedic Ruth Saran – who killed her husband?
Her quest leads her into the Scottish highlands and deep into danger, towards a reckoning with a family of cannibals who share a strange and grisly secret.
“They’re here! They live among us!”
In Skin and Bone, when a crashed lorry reveals a cargo of what seem to be human remains, and a masked stranger whispers “it isn’t over!”, paranoia overtakes Ruth. Are there more of these murderous flesh eaters? A compulsive search uncovers conspiracies stranger than she could have imagined…
“Saran’s an outlaw – stop her before she kills again!”
Tooth and Nail finds Ruth Saran in jail for murder, and no longer concerned with vicious cannibal killers. Now she’s fighting for custody of her unborn child.
When a masked man kidnaps her as she’s giving birth, she and her lover Dan are plunged into a breakneck chase across Scotland, to confront a scheme both obscene and ingenious…
