Hosted by Scott’s Pops & Comics and cartoonist Rick Eades, WAZP (Warrington Art, Zines, Comics and Print Fair) takes place on Saturday, November 7th, at Warrington Market, running from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
The event on the mezzanine floor of the Market, where you can also find Scott’s Pops & Comics, celebrates independent comics, zines, artwork and printmaking, showcasing creative talent from the local area, so it’s ideal if you’d like to support local creators.
There will be lots of zines, comic, prints and other goodies to buy.
Announced creators at the event include The Bald Yeti, Kris Bees, Kirby Brown, Rick Eades, Foxhat, Natalie Haku, Ink and Spells, Jaunty Art, Christy Leigh, Colin Mathieson, Billy Peacock, Rachael Smith, plus The Northern Folklore Archive, a dedicated repository of whispered tales, superstitions and local folklore in the North of the UK.
