Gold Key Media has announced the addition of their first children’s comic, The Beano, to their innovative Media Box, a digital download service offered in hotels across the globe – meaning fans of the weekly comic won’t miss out on the latest adventures of Dennis the Menace, Minnie the Minx and more while they’re on holiday.
The digital platform, which is integrated into hotels remotely anywhere in the world, allows guests to download a wide range of international newspapers and magazines of their choice onto their own mobile device, in the same simple format as the print editions.
“The Beano is a great addition to our Media Box as we continue to expand our digital offering,” says Sally Ingram, UK Sales Manager of Gold Key Media. “The magazine will most definitely be a hit with the younger guests (and probably most older guests), ideal for the summer period!”
There are over 600 individualised Media Boxes currently in use in hotels globally, including the Apex Temple Court Hotel, ANdAZ, The Queen’s Gate Hotel and W Hotel.
Publications included within the Media Box include luxury lifestyle titles such as GQ, Esquire and Harper’s Bazaar and newspapers such as the Daily Mail, Independent and Wall Street Journal.
Gold Key Media already supplies print editions of children’s magazines First News and National Geographic Kids and offers interactive London Children’s Maps to help children explore Britain’s capital city, as well as a selection of Activity Packs.
