Cor! By Gum! It’s a Comiket loads of comic creators – in Woking… Tomorrow!

Comiket - Autumn 2016

Not only is the Cor! By Gum! Zarjaz! exhibition at The Lightbox in Woking (reviewed here) going great guns, but tomorrow (Saturday 8th October) sees the venue hosting a sparkling Comica Comiket – followed, as we reported earlier in the week, by a special Dan Dare fund raiser event with Peter Hampson, son of Frank Hampson.

As well as the exhibition being open (until 6pm, extended hours, £5), The Lightbox is offering A Grand Comics Day Out to Woking with the Comica Comiket independent comics market offering appearances by a host of comic creators and a fabulous Drawing Parade (these are for free) from 10.30am to 5.00pm.

From 6.00pm Peter Hampson, son of Frank Hampson, will be in conversation with Paul Gravett about the turbulent life and career of the creator of Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future.
