Artist Graham Humphreys joins this year’s Weird Worcester lineup

Iconic illustrator, designer, poster artist and frequent collaborator Graham Humphreys has joined the lineup for Weird Worcester 2 in July.

Hosted once again by boutique home video label Treasured Films, the Weird Worcester convention at Worcester Arena – a grassroots led event, aimed at cinephiles and collectors – offers a top tier roster of cult film veterans, celebrating all things cult films.

The event’s second year welcomes more luminaries of Italian genre cinema, along with guests from other areas of legendary cult filmdom, including Italian genre stalwart Al Cliver and Italian film director Luigi Cozzi (Starcrash) alongside actors Ian McCulloch (Zombie Holocaust), the Queen of horror and science-fiction Caroline Munro and Vernon Wells (Mad Max 2), writer, producer and director of countless high profile horror productions Mick Garris, with more guests to be announced.

Graham Humphreys is an illustrator and designer with 40 years experience. One of the few contemporary illustrators using the traditional medium of gouache to paint his images, Graham is best known for his work within the horror genre.

His official website site is both an online portfolio of work, but also a visual testament to the enduring appeal of horror through cinema and home entertainment.

Whilst his work in the horror industry remains core to his output, he has always recognised the necessity to work across all genres and areas. Hung, Drawn and Executed, published by Korero Press in November 2019, devoted to his career, is currently in its second print run.
