The BEANO has teamed up with Comixit!, the world’s first kids-safe comic platform, to bring Britain’s most iconic kids comic into the digital era.

While BEANO itself is available as a digital edition, and BEANO Studios and DC Thomson have developed a hugely popular BEANO official website, this new partnership extends the weekly comic’s brand still further into the digital realm in a brand new, enjoyable way.
The Comixit! platform has been developed to introduce a new generation of children to the joy of reading – and creating – comics. BEANO, which launched in 1938, is among the first to feature on the Comixit! platform, providing a treasure trove of content reimagined for a new generation of comic fans.
Packed with comic content, challenges and games (including 24 Days of Comics throughout December), Comixit! encourages kids to create – and co-create – their own comic strips, explaining why it’s quickly establishing itself as “Roblox for comics”.

Perfect for family connection and busting the boredom during the Christmas holidays and Twixmas period – kids may struggle to get the app back from their mums and dads!
Parents can also relax in the knowledge that Comixit! is a kids-safe platform, and that although it is screen time, it’s engaging kids with stories and improving their literacy skills by stealth, so that reading becomes play.
With comic content from BEANO plus other UK publishers, Markosia and Mayamada, challenges and games, plenty of free content and special festive features for December, Comixit! is available on the App Store and Google Play at a special introductory price of £1.99 (70% discount) until the end of 2025.
Remixing Comics, Reimagining Reading, Comixit! is recommended for ages 7-12
