First Fantastic Four “Doctor Doom” story included in upcoming Vectis auction

Vectis Auctions is having a fantastic Comics, Books, Trading Cards, Retro Gaming, Music Memorabilia and Collectables Auction this Tuesday, 15th July 2025. Pre-bidding is already open, on gems that include a “pence copy” of Fantastic Four #5 (1962), featuring the first appearance of Doctor Doom.

In all, this latest Vectis auction showcases over 680 items, including a brilliant range of comics – 2000AD, Marvel, DC, featuring Spider-man, Fantastic Four, Wolverine, Batman and many others.

You will find some brilliant Silver Age Comics, too, including some “pence copy” issues of early Marvel titles, which feature a UK cover price.

There are a fair few Marvel UK goodies on offer, including the first issue of The Mighty World of Marvel, the company’s first title, published in 1972, with its Hulk iron on transfer included, and full runs of some of the company’s superhero titles.
