First Pics from Marvel’s Deadpool Released

One of the first official image from Marvel’s Deadpool, due for release in the UK on 12th February 2016, has been released.

Directed by Tim Miller, the film stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary who is subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers. Adopting the alter ego Deadpool, armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humour, he hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

The film also stars Morena Baccarin as Copycat, who also plays Gotham series regular Dr Leslie Thompkins, James Gordon’s current love interest. Also in the cast are Ed Skrein as Francis/Ajax, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, T.J. Miller as Weasel and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic.
