Dundee is getting a brand new comic shop, Lost Galaxy, with an opening planned for February 2026.

Lost Galaxy – already online at lostgalaxy.co.uk and on Instagram – is the brainchild of Paul Leishman, and will stock a mix of vintage and modern comics, alongside a dedicated area where visitors can sit, browse and properly enjoy them.
“After around 15 awesome years in the games industry, I’m excited to announce that I am taking a step in a new direction and starting something of my own,” Paul posted to LinkedIn last week, who intends Lost Galaxy will be “A welcoming place for comics, tabletop games, and hobby supplies, from new releases and classic runs to miniature games and collectibles.”
It‘s a bit of a change from games, but it pulls together a lot of long-standing interests and passion. Also, Dundee hasn’t had a comic book shop since 2018!
“It’s a cracking addition to the Perth Road and a real boost for Dundee’s already-strong comic and illustration scene,” enthuses Dundee Culture.
“From BEANO to today’s indie creators, this city has always punched above its weight in comics, and it’s great to see a new space celebrating that.”
