As we edge closer to this year’s Lakes International Comic Art Festival, returning 27th – 29th September 2024 to Bowness-on-Windermere, the organisation, expanding its year-round operations, has published a digital edition of the first issue of Between The Lines, a new, free magazine focusing on Festival guests and other matters comic.
Edited by John McShane, designed by Steve Kerner, the first issue includes an interview with award-winning Italian artist Gigi Cavenago, designer of this year’s main Festival poster, a look at new comics launching at the Festival from Isobel Greenberg and Mollie Raye, a guide to Conan the Barbarian in comics – and more.
The cover, by Festival guest Dan Panosian, comes courtesy of Titan Comics.
