Is it time for your daily cup of Raktajino? There are days when a Star Trek fan just needs the Klingon equivalent of coffee, and now, for the first time, thanks to Master Replicas, you can drink it from an officially-licensed replica of the Raktajino mugs used on Deep Space 9.
On Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the plain blue version of these wide-bottomed mugs was produced in the station’s replimat. In reality, the mugs were produced by a company called Feltman Langer, who were based in Los Angeles, California. The design was known as a “No Spill No Slide” mug and they were originally sold to surf shops up and down the coast before the makers started promoting their use on boats.
The Deep Space Nine art department used different mugs for different parts of the station and chose these ones for the Promenade.
If that’s not enough, Master Replicas also making two special versions, one with the Quark’s Bar logo and a black version with the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine logo. Neither of tehm were used on the show, but they might look right at home on your desk.

The new officially licensed Raktajino cups are available for pre order now and will ship from December.
Sadly, Raktajino itself – a Klingon coffee that’s rich, spicy, and boasts a battle-ready caffeine content – is unlikely to be available widely until the 24th century. Although we did come across an unofficial recipe… and there are plenty more out there!
