There’s an opportunity learn how to draw Comic Art Superheroes at a practical demonstration by comic creator Sam Hart at Blackwell’s Bookshop in Broad Street, Oxford, later this month.

Spend an hour with professional comic book and storyboard artist Sam Hart at Blackwell’s Oxford, where he will take you through how to draw comic art superheroes.
Sam will be referencing his new book, Comic Art Superheroes, during the workshop, which will be available to buy at the event.


Sam Hart is a British-Brazilian comic book artist with over 30 years of experience in comics, illustration, and visual storytelling. Known for his dynamic and expressive style, Sam has worked on iconic properties including Judge Dredd, Power Rangers, VR Troopers, and Starship Troopers, as well as a wide range of historical and legendary figures such as Robin Hood, King Arthur, Joan of Arc, and the 16th-century pirate Grace O’Malley.
He is perhaps best known internationally as the illustrator of The Coldest City, written by Antony Johnston – the graphic novel that was adapted into the 2017 Hollywood film Atomic Blonde, starring Oscar-winner Charlize Theron.
