To celebrate the reopening of London’s Cartoon Museum, they’re taking part in Open House Festival, enabling free entry this weekend (19th – 20th September 2020).
As well as offering the chance to visit the Museum for free, as part of the Open House weekend cartoonist Steve Marchant and Curator Emma Stirling-Middleton will be doing safely-distanced “show and tells” about some items usually kept in storage.

The annual Open House is run by Open City, a charity that works with architecture and urban design to make our built environment more accessible and inclusive.
The Open City team works to create and carry out a series of programmes including talks, workshops and festivals to make the experience of the city more engaging and accessible. They open up over 800 buildings every year and welcome 250,000 visitors to the Open House weekend.

The Cartoon Museum will re-open its doors to the public this Thursday (17th September), after nearly six months of enforced closure due to Coronavirus Pandemic restrictions.
