• 6th July 2016: The BBC reports a statue of the Marvel superhero Captain America is to be erected in a New York park. The company has commissioned a 13-ft (3.96m) bronze statue which will be housed in Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
It will be unveiled at the San Diego Comic Con later this month before being placed in the park from 10th August.

• 14th June 2014: Shropshire Live reports artists Charlie Adlard, Dylan Teague and Mike Collins were on hand to support the 25th birthday celebrations for Shrewsbury’s Infinity & Beyond at the weekend.
To mark the 25th birthday of Infinity & Beyond, shoppers were given the chance to have photos taken with the undead in a special ‘bio-hazard’ zone at Shrewsbury’s Darwin Shopping Centre, while Charlie – famed for his work on the best-selling Walking Dead books – was in store to meet with fans and sign books as part of the celebrations.
