What’s that lurking in the dark? Who’s that walking up behind you? And why does it sound like death is slowly creeping this way? Why, it’s Creepshow…
Creepshow is a new, star-studded, well-received five-issue comic book anthology from Image Comics, based on the hit Shudder TV series and advancing the worldwide phenomenon that began with George A. Romero and Stephen King’s iconic 1982 film. It has continued with the Greg Nicotero-helmed genre anthology series entering its fourth season on Shudder, produced by Cartel Entertainment.
Creepshow, Volume 1 was released recently, and is available from all good book and comic shops.
Creepshow comes to comics packed with bone chilling stories from the biggest names in comics, including Chris Burnham (Die! Die! Die!), Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series), John McCrea (Hitman), David & Maria Lapham (Stray Bullets), Erica Henderson (Assassin Nation, Dracula), and Francesco Francavilla (Night of the Ghoul, Detective Comics) and L Marlow Francavilla, and more.
The new horror series has met with praise rom fans, AIPT declaring “Creepshow #1 comes out of the gate running, or in this case, screaming and blubbering. Both stories feel like an homage to older comics and the legacy of Creepshow while offering unique tales worth getting lost in.”
