Here’s Zee Productions descriptions of their new jigsaws, with links to buy them direct…

A.B.C. Warriors are a team of war robots designed to withstand ‘Atomic’, ‘Bacterial’ and ‘Chemical’ warfare, created by Pat Mills. They were built to take part in the long-running Volgan War, which Mills had described in several previous 2000AD strips, including “Invasion!” and “Ro-Busters”. Each robot has a distinctive personality – often one programmed by its human creators – but each is more or less able to act with free will.

Judge Dredd is the longest-running character to feature in 2000AD. Created by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra, law enforcement and judicial officer Judge Joseph Dredd first appeared in the second issue of 2000AD in March 1977. The character has gone on to appear in a number of film and video game adaptations. In 2012, Judge Dredd was commemorated in series of postage stamps issued by the Royal Mail.

Rogue Trooper was created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons in 1981, the strip following the adventures of Rogue, a “Genetic Infantryman”, a genetically engineered, blue-skinned, super soldier and his three comrades’ search for the Traitor General.
His comrades are in the form of biochips – onto which a G.I.’s entire personality is downloaded at the time of death for later retrieval – and are named Gunnar (mounted on Rogue’s rifle), Bagman (on his backpack) and Helm (on his helmet). He is genetically engineered to be immune to almost all known toxins, can submerge in strong acid unaffected, and is able to withstand a vacuum in his bare skin.

Slaine is a barbarian fantasy adventure series first published in 2000AD in 1983. Created by writer Pat Mills and initially drawn by his then wife Angela Kincaid, the series is based on Celtic myths and legends. Following the adventures of wanderer Slaine, as he battles monsters and mercenaries in true fantasy tradition. Armed with his trusty axe, the “Brainbiter” and the power to “warp spasm”, turning him into a terrifying and powerful figure!

Strontium Dog is a long-running feature in 2000AD, created by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra, and first appearing in the first issue of 2000AD companion title Starlord in 1978. The series follows the (sometimes) bizarre adventures of mutant bounty hunter, Johnny Alpha, responsible for such legendary achievements as leading a mutant uprising on Earth and time-travelling to 1945 to arrest Adolf Hitler…
