24 Panels charity comics project in support of Grenfell Tower survivors gathers pace

Following the successful and highly regarded 24 Stories anthology the team behind that charity project have embarked on a parallel comic book project, 24 Panels, promoting themes of hope, community, positivity and unity in aid of PTSD related needs of Grenfell Tower survivors.

Edited by comic book writer and former computer game and music journalist Kieron Gillen (Phonogram, The Wicked + Divine), they’re looking for comics for the title – anything up to 24 panels and on any subject as long as they fall within the book’s themes of hope, unity, positivity and community.

The editorial team will choose a selection of entries and publish them in the a book, due for release Autumn 2018.

If you aren’t already aware of it, 24 Stories24 Panels Logo is an anthology of short stories, written on themes of community and hope; positive stories written by a mix of twelve established authors including Irvine Welsh, Meera Syal, Christopher Brookmyre and Pauline Melville plus 12 previously unpublished writers.

Submissions close on 30th June 2018. Copyright on published work will rest with the creator and it’s assumed any entries come with permission for us to print. Suitable stories that didn’t make the book will feature on the 24 Panels web site. No-one contributing to or working on the project will be taking payment and all proceeds will be going to charity.
