It’s a big week for Roy of the Rovers fans as any decent newsagent will have two magazines that you’ll want to pick up…
First up is Match of the Day magazine (Issue 529 – cover dated 30th October – 5th November) which continues to print material from the new Roy of the Rovers – Scouted novel by Tom Palmer.

Match of the Day magazine has been running “Roy of the Rovers” strips since the summer (Issue 507, to be precise) but new on the, er, newstand for Melchester Rovers teen star this week is Kickaround, the younger brother of When Saturday Comes magazine.

The Roy story content in Kickaround isn’t unique (it’s previously appeared in Match of the Day magazine), but there is an exclusive chat with author Tom Palmer – and there’s a great offer if you subscribe; a copy of Scouted is included.

If you haven’t already bought Scouted, then this is well worth checking out.
