BBC release new Doctor Who portraits by Jeremy Enecio

Doctor Who by Jeremy Enecio - Montage BBC America unveiled new character portraits of the Doctors from Doctor Who at this year’s San Diego Comic Con – all 14 of them, including John Hurt’s War Doctor – illustrated by Jeremy Enecio.

All the images are based on famous photos or scenes from the show, such as The Time Warrior, Bad Wolf/ The Parting of the Ways and Dinosaurs on a Spaceship.

BBC America posted all the illustrations to its Twitter feed, along with details of the winners of this year’s Fan.

Based in Baltimore, originally from Ormoc City, Philippines, Jeremy Enecio moved to the United States at the age of four. He attended the Maryland Institute, College of Art and worked as a video game concept artist at Big Huge Games for several years before pursuing freelance illustration full time.

He’s worked for a wide variety of clients, including The Hollywood Reporter (including providing them with a wonderful illustration of Stan Lee), Sports Illustrated and more.
