We’re Going on a Comics Ramble, with the Lakes International Comic Art Festival Podcast!

Lakes International Comic Art Festival Podcast Episode 79 - A Comics Ramble

It’s comics chat all the way on the latest episode of the Lakes International Comic Art Festival Podcast.

Although, of course, how could we not begrudge hosts Nikki Bates and Ian Loxam some air time to discuss their recent engagement, which happened recently on the top of Kendal Castle?

Our congratulations to this hard-working pair!

Also discussed is a piece of art Ian had commissioned for the occasion, by the wonderful itsnotaboutwork, (DM him on Twitter with work enquiries), along with a wide range of books.

“The Proposal” by itsnotaboutwork, (DM him on Twitter with work enquiries)

These include Breaks Volume 2 by Emma Vieceli and Malin Ryden, published by Soaring Penguin Press, The Flood that did Come By by Patrick Wray and Victory Point by Owen D. Pomery, both published by Avery Hill, and, finally, Tony Osmond is a Movie Star by Tony Esmond, Cliff Cumber and Ken Reynolds, published by Tribute Press.

Tom Stewart also returns with a good old comic ramble and he also joins Pete Taylor and Mike Williams for the Comic Genre World Cup Quarter Finals.

This time, rather appropriately, it’s Crime vs Romance!
