Jane will also be presenting the movie short Punisher: Dirty Laundry, which sees him reprise his role as protagonist Frank Castle. Punisher: Dirty Laundry, written by Chad St. John and directed by Phil Joanou, which also stars Ron Perlman (Pacific Rim, Hellboy), will screen in London Comic Con’s VidFest zone and Jane will also take part in a Q&A panel and show behind-the-scenes footage from the film.
“”I wanted to make a fan film for a character I’ve always loved and believed in – a love letter to Frank Castle and his fans,” says Jane of the violent short, which was produced by Adi Shankar.
“It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It’s been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.”
Thomas Jane’s movie credits include The Punisher, Boogie Nights, The Thin Red Line and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and he received multiple Golden Globe nominations for his lead role in US comedy drama Hung.
