Dandy and Beano Summer Specials covers revealed

The sun is shining, summer’s a-coming – although, meteorologically speaking, not just yet, we’ll admit. But regardless, in preparation, DC Thomson have revealed the covers for this year’s Dandy and Beano Summer Specials, featuring covers by Steve Bright, which went in sale in May last year.

Over on his blog, artist Lew Stringer tells us that alongside classic reprint, there will be some new art too though, as he was commissioned to draw an introductory half page illustration for one of the sections. “Other artists have drawn new pieces for other chapters,” he notes, “Apparently there’s one new story too, but I’ve no idea who features in that.”
