Yes, that’s right, the Aces Weekly team, headed up by David Lloyd, are clearly not content with delivering great science fiction, adventure, fantasy and humour strips, each volume totting up to 120 pages, including extras, for just £1 every week, or any other kind a cash you’ve got. Now they’re heading out yonder, to the Wild West, bringing you a fantastic-looking gun-toting adventure, that follows in the footsteps of film directors such as Sergio Leone and Sam Peckinpach.

Petri Hänninen is a creative writer from Finland with over 25 years of experience, whose first comic was published back in 1996, in the Finnish F1 Maailma magazine. He’s since featured in the Eisner Award nominated anthology To End All Wars, with his story “Between the Darkness”, drawn by Neil McClements, and has written several different comic series, including the Moomin series for Egmont, and Timo Kokkila’s Peräsmiehen poika comic. His adaptation of Macbeth, first published in Finnish but now available in English from Markosia, was drawn by Petri Hiltunen.

Petri has also worked as a Senior Content Editor in Museum Centre Vapriikki, Dramaturg Assistant in YLE broadcasting company and Head Writer in Kyy Games, but also as Content Writer for several companies.

Niccolò Pizzorno , aka “Pitzhorn”, has lived and worked in Genoa since 1995. He graduated from the Nicolò Barabino Art School and graduated from the Linguistic Academy of Fine Arts in the same city. He attended the Chiavarese School of Comics and is well established as an illustrator and as a comic artist.

His illustrations have appeared in books from I Buoni Cugini Editori, in particular in the Luigi Natoli series, who also published the graphic novel, Un mondo nuovo (A New World), a striking zombie horror story written by Ivo Tiberio Ginevra, set entirely in Genoa. For Dei Merangoli Editrice, he created The Peace Seekers. He exhibits his works throughout Italy and collaborates with some public bodies, including the Province of Gorizia.

Aces Weekly Volume 53’ll be comin round the pike in jest a few weeks,” enthuses publisher David Lloyd, perhaps ramming on a Stetson a little too tightly, “but no point sittin whittlin when Volume 52 can take ya to places jest as good with the same ticket!

“And that’s a ticket that don’t run out, boy! You heard it right! Get’s ya that 52 that’s runnin now, then 53, 54, 55… Right on down the line and no stoppin!

“Go see it all laid out for ya at www.acesweekly.co.uk. Get aboard now!”
