Captain Scarlet turns Scalextric star!

Scalextric fan? Captain Scarlet fan? Your day is complete. Two iconic vehicles from the classic Gerry Anderson SF TV series are soon to be available as model racing cars.

Inspired by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s 1960s Supermarionation series, Scalextric bring us 1:32 scale models of the Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle and Spectrum Patrol Car, capturing every detail of the originals.

Scalextric Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle

Enter the world of Spectrum with the iconic Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle (SPV) from the Captain Scarlet series. This armoured powerhouse, known for its futuristic design and battle-ready performance, is now available as a Scalextric model. With its sleek, menacing lines and unmistakable livery, the SPV was a key weapon in the fight against the Mysterons. Driven by Captain Scarlet and others, this vehicle was always ready for high-speed chases and daring missions. 

Scalextric Spectrum Patrol Car

Continue the battle against the Mysterons with the sleek, stylish Spectrum Patrol Car. Known for its futuristic design and high-speed capabilities, this vehicle was a staple of Spectrum’s ground operations. Piloted by Spectrum agents, the Patrol Car was always ready for action, whether racing to the scene of a Mysteron threat or patrolling the streets in style. 

Get ready to relive the adventures of Spectrum on your track! Both models are expected to arrive in October 2025 – surely essential collector additions for fans of classic sci-fi and Scalextric.
