This week is a major milestone for British comics, as Judge Dredd Megazine celebrates 35 years since it debuted back in 1990.
Yes, 1990 was thirty-five years ago. Sorry for bringing that up.

As Tharg brings out a budget-size cake for his droids, Judge Dredd Megazine welcomes back “Megatropolis” (sadly, opening with Dave Taylor’s final work before his death earlier this year), “Judge Anderson”, “Dreadnoughts” and “Armitage” to the lineup, alongside a one-off “Judge Dredd: America” story from Rob Williams and Colin MacNeil. “Rok The God” continues too – what more could anyone want?
Well, 2000AD Prog 2454 of course, with a crazy cover from Neil Roberts, as Rogue Trooper retraces the steps of the genetic infantryman from a new perspective. We meet a bizarre new face in “Judge Dredd”, while Red Dragon begins to unfold some mysteries.

A double helping of Thrills this week – happy anniversary!
