The Bay International Film Festival returns to Morecambe, Lancashire, later this month, offering ten days of extraordinary cinema.

Running from 23rd January to 1st February 2026, the Festival is aimed at both filmmakers and film lovers of all ages, all backgrounds.
Returning for a third year, the program includes a wide range of powerful short films from around the globe, feature films with live Q&As, world-class workshops with industry legends, with Northern talent taking centre stage.
The popular event also kids animation workshops – create your own film! – and encourages mental health awareness through film
“From red carpet awards to intimate film clubs with tea and biscuits, guerrilla filmmaking masterclasses to family screenings, this is your chance to experience cinema that you won’t find anywhere else in the area,” say the organisers.
“Whether you’re eight or 80, making your first film or discovering world cinema, there’s something here for you.”
“Don’t just watch films. Live them. Connect with them. Create with them.”
