There’s still time – just – to back John A. Short and Gabrielle Noble’s new self contained action-horror comic, Reverend Cross: Defrocked!
Their modest Kickstarter has already hit target, but if you’ve missed out on the fun the team have been having with this rather unusual comics hero, or some of the other great projects John and Gabrielle have created in recent years, now’s your chance to catch up.
For those who came in late: Reverend Abigail Cross (collections of her previous adventures available!) is the first ever female vicar action hero, who’s licensed to kick demon ass! Armed with an ancient angel sword that’s bonded to her and obeys her commands, she deals with the creatures that the normal authorities can’t… The vampires, werewolves and zombies that secretly infest our world!
(All this, while, to the world at large, Reverend Cross appears as nothing more than the parish priest to the sleepy English village of Sunnybrook!)

In her first ever feature-length, full-colour mission she will face things she has never encountered before… Can she deal with the monsters and Gods of Greek mythology while being cast out of the Church that has trained and armed her?! Things might never be the same again when Abby finds herself DEFROCKED!
Reverend Cross – Defrocked! is a 44-page American comic sized, full-colour, square-bound, self-contained action/horror/adventure comic written by John A. Short & illustrated by Gabrielle Noble.
Alongside backing the project, rewards include the opportunity to pick up copies of back issues of Captain Wylde, Helga Frankenstein, Savage! Jungle Princess, or/ and exclusive Kickstarter exclusive rarities from the team.
