There’s another crazy comic strip in the works from those crazy comic creators, artist Danny Cushion and professional musician JP Rodell, whose love of cult TV and classic British comic annuals knows no bounds!
Between them, they’ve come up with another utterly barmy, definitely bonkers strip, “Jasper Sprat, The Ungentlemanly Thief” created under their joint creative banner, “Thurston Nudge”.
Danny, who we’re delighted to see back in action, tells us he has absolutely no idea where this story is going – but if it’s anything like previous stories from JP Rodell, we know it will be a lot of fun!
Here’s a sneak peek…

For those wondering, the pair of them came up with their joint creative moniker after putting two ripped beer mats together in a pub that spelt Thurston Nudge.
Regular downthetubes readers will know Danny Cushion better, perhaps, as the artist on the majority of our not-for-profit Doctor Who strip, Terror from the Deep, now complete, available to read from the beginning here, or, perhaps more easily here on Flickr.
Danny and JP will self publish a limited edition of the stories on completion.
