Both the BEANO Halloween and Christmas Specials are being promoted now, the latest BEANO Presents… titles, complementing the release of the hardback BEANO annual, published last month.
There’s a little confusion over availability: the The Horrifying Beano Halloween Special 68-page Bookazine (BEANO Presents… No. 5) is on sale in newsagents and select supermarkets now, and available to order now direct from DC Thomson; but is listed as not being available through services such as AmazonUK (Affiliate Link) until next week, 28th September.
Bizarrely, the AmazonUK listing for BEANO Presents… No. 6, the Beano Christmas Special 2026, indicates the title is available to order now (Affiliate Link), but is listed as not officially on sale until 28th October in newsagents, although it’s apparently been seen “out in the wild” in some stores. It’s also available to order directly from DC Thomson here, available now.
Either way, the distribution confusion aside, both Bookazine Specials featuring great covers from Nigel Parkinson come packed with BEANO comic strips and feature pages, so here’s a look at what’s inside!
