Cartoon County’s guest at their next event tomorrow night (Monday 26th October) is animator and indie comics creator Alex Potts, who has created adverts for Nespresso and the Cartoon Network, the graphic novel Was That Normal? and various indie titles.
The comics review website Solrad notes this book has “a story that’s tender, funny, and deeply human. A beautifully observed graphic novel about connection, confusion, and the spaces in between”.
Alex will be talking to Alex Fitch about moving from self-publishing via Kickstarter to Avery Hill, from comics to animation and back, and much more.
If you can’t make it, you can also available to watch live via YouTube at www.youtube.com/@panelbordersvideo
