Marvel has announced the upcoming publication of a Doctor Strange-inspired colouring book – just one of the licensed items that will launch around the the feature film starring Benedict Cumberbatch which will be released later this year.

Running to 120 pages, the latest “Color Your Own” book for adults joins previous releases in the range, which include the recently-released Color Your Own Deadpool and titles such as Color Your Own Civil War, Color Your Own Age of Ultron and Color Your Own Little Marvel, released last year.

Color Your Own Doctor Strange book will be published in October. The film is due for release in the UK on 28th October and 4th November in the US.

The upcoming Doctor Strange film is set after Stephen Strange, a brilliant but arrogant surgeon, sees his career destroyed – but as in the early issues of the character’s comic, gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil.

Directed by Scott Derrickson and credited to Steve Ditko (for the comic) and Thomas Dean Donnelly (for the screenplay), the film stars Rachel McAdams, Benedict Cumberbatch and Tilda Swinton.
