Dan Dare Audio Adventures “Lobby Cards” released, second “film poster” revealed

These “lobby cards” are just one of several promotional activities to encourage interest in the new Dan Dare Audio Adventures from B7 Medialaunching via Big Finish in December.

Lobby cards – used to promote films in cinemas in the past – were typically issued in sets of eight, each featuring a different scene from the film.

In the UK, sets of lobby cards are also known as “Front of House” cards, but this description also refers to black-and-white press photographs, in addition to the more typical 8 × 10 inch promotional devices resembling lobby cards.

These items are the work of Daniel Fox of Cheshire-based film makers Chat Noir Productions, who has also been working on some other treats for Dan Dare fans in the run up to the series launch, which stars Ed Stoppard as Dan Dare, Geoff McGivern as Digby and Poldark‘s Heidi Reed as Professor Peabody.
Also just revealed is Brian Williamson‘s second poster promoting the action-packed “The Red Moon Mystery”, written by James Swallow, which introduces Ivor Dare, played by Hugh Fraser.
