2000AD Prog 2044 - Cover

Wrapped in a cover by Jimmy Broxton, 2000AD Prog 2044 comes crashing into newsagents, comic shops and digital platforms this Wednesday, offering a great selection of stories. It also sees the final episode of the latest Judge Dredd tale “Ouroboros”, which is a bit of a shame as Vega has been a great guest character. I’m sure she’ll be back!

While I’ve yet to warm to “Hope: … For The Future”, returning this issue – the art is terrific, perhaps it’s the captioned storytelling that’s jarring with me – “Grey Area” is terrific, and I really liked this Prog’s episode of “The Alienist”, a combination of great script and art. Well worth your galactic groats.
