Thunderbirds Are Go - Series 3 Poster by Paul Shipper

The art is the work of illustrator Paul Shipper, whose recent work also includes Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Ready Player One, who has created something truly F.A.B.

Born in Manchester in 1976, Paul’s formal education ended with BA in illustration and Animation although like any good artist he says he continues to learn new things and hone my craft to this day.

After living in New Zealand for six years He moved back to the UK in 2014 and now works from his studio in South-West England.

“Inspired from a young age by the one sheets in the cinema lobby and the posters on my bedroom wall, I fell in love with the craft and beauty of the illustrated film poster,” the award-winning artist says on his web site.

“Since the mid-to-late 1990’s I have been devoted to creating art that embodies that very aesthetic, on a self proclaimed mission to bring the beloved ‘old school’ illustrated movie posters I grew up with back to the cinema… and beyond.”

Paul’s work has earned him deserved praise from a huge number of major film and TV creators, including J.J Abrams and Frank Darabont.

The new season sees International Rescue with their hands full, battling new enemies in the form of The Chaos Crew and more. The Tracys and their Thunderbirds must go above and beyond to tackle new threats while continuing to rescue those in need.

An undersea mission for Thunderbird 2, the return of Maximum MAX (and several other MAXes for that matter), the unrelenting heat of planet Mercury and a rapidly growing giant geranium are just a taste of what’s in store – culminating in a very personal rescue mission.
