British comic creators, including Alan Davis, are among the lineup for this year’s Copenhagen Comics event at the Øksnehallen, one of Copenhagen’s best and most established venues, in May.
The poster for Copenhagen Comics 2024 is designed by Kimmie Kawauchi, a Danish freelance illustrator and cartoonist. The art reflects the breadth of comic fans and the genres they love – and the many possibilities for visual storytelling that exist in the comic book medium.
Copenhagen Comics is Denmark’s biggest comic festival, and the team behind it are looking forward to celebrating the comics, the creators, the comics community, and pop culture.
The festival offers a wealth of stands, exhibitions, interviews, discussions, signings and workshops. Alongside the huge range of Danish comic creators you’d expect at such at event, British guests for 2024 include Dan Berry, Gemma Correll and Alan Davis, and American creators such as Michael Lark and Craig Thompson.
