2000AD writer and musician Kek-W has another unsettling but intriguing prose book, Unnatural Science, out now, available from the writer of stories such as “The Dark Judges: The Fall of Deadworld” and “The Order” direct.

Described as “Bio Horror”, Unnatural Science sees Kek-W bring us tales that see your mind, body and Nature itself turn against you: four stories that fuse Weird Fiction, Body Horror, Victorian “Penny Bloods” and British Post-War Pulp into a queasy brew of para-anatomical terror.
In “The Amphitheatre”, for example, a chance sighting from a late 19th century train turns into a shocking, sanity-shattering journey of self-discovery that threatens to overthrow Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.
In “Dial “M” For Amnesia”, renowned 1950s occult-scientist Oberon Cummings’ latest discovery unleashes a nameless existential terror that will haunt his loyal friend and biographer to the end of his days.
Unnatural Science is available here through Kek-W’s Bandcamp page for £6.99, along with previous chapbooks and the Wonder Funnies comic he produced with artist Lukasz Kowalczuk.
Kek-W is also asking for a little help covering printing costs and paying for an artist to produce the cover for his next chapbook via Ko-Fi, and is selling some of his original art via Vinted.

Kek-W is a UK-based writer of comic-books, graphic novels, prose fiction, film and TV. His work crosses different genres, including horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action-adventure, war, humour-satire. He has created original characters and concepts for publishers, revamped existing licensed properties, built new fictional worlds and rebooted flagging or defunct brands.
His comic-book work includes “Judge Dredd”, “Rogue Trooper” and “Tyranny Rex” for 2000AD, as well as the acclaimed Dark Judges: Fall of Deadworld dark horror series with Dave Kendall, an omnibus collection out in September, featuring Judge Death, and the brilliant historical science fantasy series, “The Order”.
He has published three prose books and two creator co-owned comics, all available via trusted platforms like Etsy or BandCamp.
