The latest issue Big Issue North magazine (Issue 1221), on sale now from street vendors across the North West, features a cover by and interview with cmic creator Bryan Talbot, creator of the Grandville graphic novel series.
Grandville: Force Majeure was released last year and proved a terrific finale to an amazing series of vital, anthropomorphic animal adventures
In the middle of a gang war, wanted for murder, truly alone and outside the law, Detective Inspector LeBrock is on the run from both the police and gangster assassins, the victim of a diabolical scheme to annihilate himself and everyone he holds dear, engineered by mastermind crime lord Tiberius Koenig, one of the most despicable villains in the history of detective fiction.
A weekly publication, sold by people on the street with no other means of making an income, if you want a copy of this badger-led issue then you need to go out, find your local seller and buy one. The Big Issue North web site only sell magazines online the week after they’ve been published.
If they do have copies of the magazine left over at the end of the week, you can now buy online if you missed out, and you’ll still be supporting people who sell the magazine to change their lives.
