Written by Hugo, Bram Stoker, Locus, World Fantasy, Nebula award-winning, and #1 New York Times bestselling writer Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Neverwhere and many others) this graphic novel adaptation by Colleen Doran (Sandman, Troll Bridge)! Snow, Glass, Apples comes to you in a beautiful hardcover format, and is the latest addition to the Dark Horse’s Neil Gaiman library program.
On Twitter, the ever busy Colleen revealed the new story has been created in the style of the Irish Arts and Crafts genius, children’s book illustrator Harry Clarke, also considered Ireland’s greatest stained glass artist.
Internationally, the name of Harry Clarke is synonymous with quality craftsmanship and imaginative genius in his stained glass work.
Neil Gaiman is currently in the the UK working on the TV adaptation of Good Omens, his collaboration with the late Terry Pratchett, directed by Douglas Mackinnon. The series, will stream globally on Amazon Prime Video first this year, before airing weekly on BBC Two in the UK afterwards.
The series follows the story of Aziraphale, an angel (played by Michael Sheen), and Crowley, a demon (David Tennant), who have formed an unlikely friendship spanning 6,000 years and have grown fond of life on Earth. However, the end of time grows near with the approaching Armageddon and they must now join forces to find a way to save the world.
