Sarah Andersen is an Eisner-nominated cartoonist and illustrator from New England, author of the award-winning series, Sarah’s Scribbles, which has earned her three consecutive Goodreads Choice Awards – and a 2022 Wall Calendar is available to order now.
Sarah graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2014 and currently lives in Montreal, Canada.
Her semi-autobiographical comics chronicle the continual struggles of waking up in the morning, being productive, dealing with social awkwardness, technology, and her beloved pets. Several collections are available, including Adulthood is a Myth and Herding Cats.


Her Eisner and Ringo Award-nominated gothic romance, Fangs, a love story between a vampire and a werewolf, began running online in 2020 as a serial comic strip on Tapas and was published last September, in hardcover form and is a New York Times bestseller.

Together with author Andy Weir, she also illustrated the graphic novel Cheshire Crossing, a mashup of Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, and Alice in Wonderland.

Published by Andrews McMeel, it combined large, vibrant monthly art with Sarah’s quirky black-and-white cartoons showing the struggles of transitioning from high school and twenty-something to full-fledged adult.
