The next Comics and Beer event organised by Lorne Brown at Haus On The Hill in Hanover, Brighton, is a “Horror Comics Spooktacular” and takes place on Saturday 18th April.

As well as Lorne’s usual selection of 10,000 comics for sale from 50p, comics editor and writer Tim Pilcher is selling a great selection of graphic novels on a “pay as you see fit” stall; comic creator ILYA will be selling his latest book, Romo the Wolf Boy; and Nevs Coleman is hoping to be there too, with copies of his zine, Titti Graffiti #2.

Plus, the Smallest Bookshop in Brighton – usually found at Brighton’s Open Market – is having a spring clean, and will be selling a wide range of science fiction books.
There’s more information about this free event here on this Facebook Event Page, but expect plenty of golden, silver, bronze and modern age comics to be on sale, plus magazines,
fanzines, artwork and much more.
Plus, it’s in a pub! In Brighton! What could be better?
