US independent publisher IT’S ALIVE has launched a crowdfunder on Indiegogo for DOSE! by Sean Ellis and John Gebbia – and it’s deservedly fast reaching its target.
IT’S ALIVE!, based in New York and run by Drew Ford, are really excited to share this incredible comic book with everyone; a unique reinterpretation of the super hero genre which explores what would happen to society if the technology and superhero population introduced in the Silver Age of Comics grew exponentially through today.
Super powers are mundane, kaiju walk the streets, and cybernetic enhancement surgery is just a phone call away – if you have the cubits to pay for it, that is.
The first issue is already done, so IT’S ALIVE! are keen to assure prospective backers you can back this campaign with confidence that it will come out on time.
For this first issue of DOSE!, are three incredible covers are on offer: a standard cover by series artist John Gebbia (Cover A), a variant cover also by John Gebbia (Cover B) and a variant cover by Sean Fitzgibbon (Cover C).
The first issue of what promises to be one heck of a new comic book series from Sean Ellis, John Gebbia, and IT’S ALIVE!, I think this title is well worth a look – I hope you do, too.
