Herne Bay’s Seaside Museum is currently host to a Dan Dare exhibition, supported by the Dan Dare Corporation who own the character, which runs until 1st July 2017.
Included in the exhibition are an impressive number of Dan Dare merchandise items dating back to the 1950s when the character was at the height of his popularity thanks to his ongoing adventures in Eagle comic.
Dan Dare fans may recognise some of the items from previous touring exhibitions, including the 2002 Bristol Dan Dare exhibition, which was organised by David Britton, Nicholas Hill and Howard Smith to mark 50 years since Eagle was first published on 14th April 1950.
