If proof were needed that some fans of classic Doctor Who and Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s many Supermarionation and live action TV shows are getting, sadly, a bit long in the tooth, then you look no further than some of the items in this upcoming auction from Thomson Roddick Callan.

Nestling among the railway collectibles, Star Wars items, stamps and more, I’d urge collectors to carefully study the pictures in some of the larger cult TV lots in this auction.
Even with my limited knowledge of some Gerry Anderson-related merchandise, there seem to be some much sought after items lumped in with unconnected, mass produced items offered, including fanzines and more.
The items appear to all come from the same collector – obviously, we don’t know the circumstances of the sale, but they clearly had a love for many of the things most downthetubes readers do, too.
