The covers for the Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor Holiday Special #1 have been revealed by Titan Comics, the first of a two issues series on sale 13th November 2019 – and we’ve learnt the regular series comics will resume anew in 2020.

The Thirteenth Doctor Holiday Special #1 (of 2) Cover A: Claudia Caranfa
Written by Jody Houser (Stranger Things, Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows) with art by Roberta Ingranata and Enrica Eren Angiolini, this 56-page Special aims to make up, at least in part, for the lack of a BBC Christmas Special this year.
Can the Doctor save Christmas? Is Santa a myth, a man, or a Time Lord? Are chimneys bigger on the inside?!
Who knows… but we’ll find out in November when the Special hits the stands in all good comic shops!
Responding to concerns from Doctor Who comics fans about a distinct lack of much of their favourite Time Lord, Titan Comics have been assuring them things will get busier next year.
“The Doctor Who comics are just taking a break for a Holiday Special (since we’re not getting one on TV),” one reader was told, “and then starting up again with “Season Two” in the new year!”
The line is now being edited by Jake Devine.
